The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse Refurbishment Has Been Extended

The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse has been under a normal refurbishment for quite a few months, but that timeframe has been extended for an extra month. Originally, the attraction was scheduled to re-open on September 25th, but they have already missed that date. As a result, the re-opening has been pushed back to October 25th.

Part of the delay could be due to the unique weather conditions the Orlando area has faced throughout last week. A good portion of the tarps covering the construction were removed in order to prevent them from coming loose in the storms. However, the more likely reason is the extraordinarily slow construction timeframes that have become synonymous with Disney over the last couple of years.

Thankfully, we now know when the attraction will reopen despite the original prediction.
